The weather in the San Francisco Bay Area, has been absolutely bonkers! Living here, you seriously have to dress in layers. One minute its hotter than hell… the next its cold like the North Pole! Santa Singh is chilling in my backyard! Anyways, here’s a little recipe to keep yourself nice and cool. You can live it up like Bart Simpson and have a delicious squishy!!! Mmmmm. I had one of these during the BIG SIMPSON MOVIE (frankly that movie was overrated) They have been on air for 20+ years, the movie should of been made in their first or second season! Be careful with the sugar… or you might end up like this….

2 cups cold club soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon Cherry flavored unsweetened Kool-Aid Mix
1/2 teaspoon cherry extract
2 1/2 cups crushed ice

1. Pour 1 cup of the club soda into a blender. Add the sugar, Kool-Aid mix, and cherry extract. Blend this until all of the sugar is dissolved.
2. Add the crushed ice and blend on high speed until the drink is a slushy, smooth consistency, with no remaining chunks of ice.
3. Add the remaining club soda and blend briefly until mixed. You may have to stop the blender and use a long spoon to stir up the contents.
4. If necessary, put the blender into your freezer for 1/2-hour. This will help thicken it up. After 1/2-hour remove blender from freezer and, again, blend briefly to mix.

I love the Fric-man! He’s definitely one of the best BBC Asian Network personalities. Like most of his fans, I’m one of his “facebook” friends. He posted a picture with the tagline “float like a butterfly sting like a bee”

I don’t know if he was trying to pull off a Muhammad Ali look….you know who he reminds of in this picture? Disco Stu from the Simpsons!!! Why??? Hmmm… good question… it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the pic.

Perhaps he’s sporting that look of exposing a little chest hair? Men in the 70s were notorious for exposing their chest hair in polyester suits. Speaking of hair… Bobby rocks in hair styling…he’s got amazing hair… God forbid if he gives up radio, he could make a new career as a hair stylist.
